The following tasks were done to complete the conversion to Shopify.<\/span><\/p>\n

Homepage Theme Design and Creation – <\/b>Shopify provides<\/span> many premade templates to choose from. However, the platform allows for complete customization of the homepage. PrimeView created a design that matched the branding of Goldstein Diamonds and made it easy to navigate to their products.<\/span><\/p>\n

Product Pages <\/b>– Product pages make up the main content of a Shopify store, so they need to work hard to entice customers to buy. PrimeView customized the product page to represent the unique brand image of Goldstein Diamonds, deliver a better user experience, and improve sales readiness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inner pages<\/b> – About, Contact, Blog, Events were created and customized.<\/span><\/p>\n

Product Migration <\/b>\u2013 A central task in the conversion was moving Goldstein Diamond products in WooCommerce to Shopify. PrimeView experts performed a complete migration and transferred all essential data such as name, SKU, description, status, orders, manufacturer price, and more to the new Shopify site.<\/span><\/p>\n

Automatic Backups by Talon <\/b>– The app backs up the complete store, saving products, product images, collections, blog posts, shop pages, theme files, customers, and orders whenever they change, creating a complete history of the Goldstein Diamond shop.<\/span><\/p>\n

Easy GDPR + Cookie Bar <\/b>– Business that does not comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) of the European Union can be fined. The app protects Goldstein Diamonds from audits and paying large penalty charges and adds a cookie bar.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Why did Goldstein Diamonds switch from WooCommerce to Shopify?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

The client had issues with WooCommerce, and they needed the additional features Shopify had, such as new product filtering \u201cshop by type.\u201d WooCommerce vs. Shopify \u2013 Both eCommerce platforms have their advantages and disadvantages. The choice depends on a user\u2019s budget, size of the store, and ability to handle the technical side of the store.<\/span><\/p>\n
