Glow-in-the-dark globes with cartoon characters to help with geography. Skeleton models with\u00a0sunglasses for anatomy. Field trips and film showing events to help with history and current events.<\/p>\n

These are all \u201cfun\u201d ways of learning. Making it fun for the students enhance their learning experience.\u00a0It helps leash boredom and sleepiness at bay, keeping interest alive and kicking. Once it is enhanced,\u00a0learning is easier, faster, and more comprehensive.<\/p>\n

Like teachers, good web designers and developers<\/a> also do their best to enhance a user\u2019s website\u00a0experience. Providing good user experience enhances the chances of them coming back, which we all\u00a0know is good for business. Even if majority of site users aren\u2019t kids, making it a more \u201cfun\u201d website still\u00a0brings in the points.<\/p>\n

\nPictures add emotion and personality to a webpage without overly adding to loading time and clutter.\u00a0Written media such as newspapers, books, newsletters, brochures, all benefit from the use of images \u2013\u00a0especially if they are fun and creative.<\/p>\n

A boring veterinary website might liven up by putting in cute pictures of pets and animals. A \u201cContact\u00a0Us\u201d page would probably look better with images that highlight its content like phone or message icons.<\/p>\n

Raising the bar on content creativity<\/strong>
\nIf you\u2019re familiar with the fundamentals of web design<\/a>, you must have heard about the discussions\u00a0about content vs. looks. I\u2019ve always believed that content is king. But there are times that boring\u00a0content, is, well\u2026 Boring. And, boring is not good.<\/p>\n

404 pages can also benefit from this. Instead of the usual 404 \u201cpage cannot be found\u201d message, you\u00a0can try putting in something funny like \u201cthe page you were looking for was probably eaten by our cute\u00a0puppy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Enhancing interaction<\/strong>
\nInteraction between websites and its users help improve how people relate to the website.\u00a0Google does a great job on promoting events in history. As of this writing, Google is celebrating the\u00a0200th anniversary of Grimm\u2019s fairy tales. What Google did was they replaced the all-famous Google logo\u00a0with an interactive slideshow of images from Grimm\u2019s famous fairy tales. There was also a time when Google put up an interactive piano where you can play music with.<\/p>\n

As soon as you enhance your website with creative content and interactive mini-games or web apps,\u00a0they are bound to make extra clicks and stay on your website longer.
